A Yucca Valley woman was arrested Monday night after her live-in boyfriend called 911 claiming he had been assaulted. Sheriff’s Deputies arrived at the 6900 block of Mohawk Trail to find 30-year-old Terra Garcia intoxicated and belligerent. Garcia’s boyfriend told deputies she had consumed almost an entire liter of vodka by herself then punched him in the face while he was asleep. The boyfriend, who was bleeding and had a swollen lip, declined medical attention. When questioned, Garcia said, “I may have messed him up.” Terra Garcia was arrested on suspicion of felony spouse abuse and booked into Morongo Basin Jail with bail set at $50,000.
