During her artist in residency program, Olivia Parkes will create a body of work related to the myths of the Old West as portrayed by the entertainment industry. Tonight at 7:30 p.m., the 1962 classic “The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance” will be featured. This John Ford masterpiece pits lawman Jimmy Stewart against the rugged rancher John Wayne. When a malevolent outlaw and the woman they both love get thrown into the mix, the question is who will get the gunman and who will get the woman? BoxoHouse is located at 62732 Sullivan Road in Joshua Tree.
