The Twentynine Palms Historical Society Old Schoolhouse Museum has been closed since March 16, 2020 due to COVID-19. But good news for history buffs: the historical society plans to re-open the museum to visitors tomorrow (Wednesday, March 17). Ernest Figueroa has more information…

The Twentynine Palms Historical Society’s Old Schoolhouse Museum will be open 1 to 4 p.m. Wednesdays through Sundays, starting March 17. The museum’s library and research archives will be open to researchers on a walk-in basis 9 to 11:45 a.m. Wednesday mornings. No more than two researchers will be allowed in at any time. All visitors and staff will be required to wear face coverings while inside the museum. A maximum of 10 visitors will be allowed in the museum at any one time, and social distancing will be required. The museum is located at 6760 National Park Drive in Twentynine Palms. Admission is free, but donations are welcome.
