The Old Schoolhouse Museum multipurpose building is still under construction. To speed up the process and save money, the Twentynine Palms Historical Society President and his crew are requesting volunteers. Reporter Tanisha Cureton gives details on how you can help…
The construction of the 2,200-square-foot multipurpose building is the latest addition to the Old Schoolhouse Museum. The Clark Construction Desert Dirt Works have been working diligently since April 7th to prepare for the foundation and framing. When completed, the building will house a 1,500-square-foot multipurpose room, a catering kitchen, restrooms and storage spaces. The historical society has a limited expansion fund, so any volunteers willing to help with the project are welcomed. For updates on the project, visit the society’s Facebook page or call 760-861-5801.
