On June 8, join author, professor, and former firefighter Ruth Nolan for an invigorating lecture and slideshow “Fire On the Mojave: Stories from the Deserts and Mountains of Inland Southern California.” This lecture takes a broad view of the role fire has in our desert. The presentation will be held at the Old Schoolhouse Museum, 6760 National Park Drive, in Twentynine Palms. The cost is $5 per person at the door.
