The Yucca Valley Rotary’s 2nd Annual Oktoberfest and Fall Festival on Saturday, October 25 will feature the Poland Brothers and the Warsaw Group with their “Kalifornia Krauts” performance. The master of ceremonies is Z107.7’s Pat Michaels, and Burgermeister is Chamber of Commerce President Tom Huls, who will lead the crowd in the Chicken Dance, as well as the log sawing, keg tossing, and stein-holding contests. There is a costume contest for kids, and a “Pre-Decorated” Pumpkin contest at 4 p.m. for the kids along with jump houses, games and prizes. Presale discount packages are now on sale at the Yucca Valley Chamber of Commerce and on line at: www.yvrotary.org. General admission at the door is $5 per adult and $2 for kids under 13. Discounts for drinks, food, and steins are included in presale packages. There will be food vendors, and a vendor fair of various booths.
