The American rock band Offspring came out of Garden Grove, California in 1984. Their original punk, Skate punk, and pop punk sounds made them recognizable from coast to coast with hits like The Kids Aren’t Alright, Pretty Fly, and You’re Gonna Go Far. Offsprung reproduces that sound tonight on the outdoor stage at the free Live at the Rock concert starting at 8 p.m. at Tortoise Rock Casino in Twentynine Palms. Now in its fifth season, “Live at the Rock” presents a new tribute every Saturday night. Concerts are open to all ages. In the coming weeks look for tributes to Black Sabbath, Blink 182 and The Scorpions to round out the month of June.
