Neil Simon’s “The Odd Couple: Female Version” will be performed this weekend by the Yucca Valley High School drama department. Florence Unger and Olive Madison probably shouldn’t be roommates since one is a neat freak and the other a slob. In Simon’s female version of this classic comedy, all the hilarity of the original still remains. Show dates are Friday and Saturday, April 5 and 6, in the high school’s Lecture Hall. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the curtain rises at 6 p.m. Advance tickets are available from cast members for $5, or for $7 at the door. Yucca Valley High School is located at 7600 Sage Avenue in Yucca Valley.
