Today in Yucca Valley, the Hi-Desert Water District meets at 4 p.m. while the Joshua Basin Water District, which serves Joshua Tree, meets at 5:30 p.m. tonight. Here’s reporter Mike Lipsitz to tell us what’s on tonight’s agendas…
Among items to be considered at the Hi-Desert Water District meeting are revisions to the employee handbook, and a plan to reopen district meetings to members of the public. Aside from routine items on the Joshua Basin Water District’s consent agenda, directors will look at the current Covid 19-related state of emergency and consider extending the ban on in-person public meeting attendance for another 30 days, as well as options for allowing some limited public attendance.
The public is invited to observe or participate in tonight’s meetings by phone or on the Zoom platform. See this story at Z1077FM.com for links.
