Registered nurses at Hi-Desert Medical Center, as well as seven other Tenet-affiliated California facilities, will hold a one-day strike on Friday, September 20 to urge management to invest in nursing staff. Strikers say this investment will improve the recruitment and retention of experienced RNs, and ensure optimal patient care. The strike is set for 7 a.m. Friday, through 7 a.m. Saturday morning.
