NOVEMBER EXHIBIT AT GLASS OUTHOUSE

“It’s an experience like you’ll never have in your life – sitting on the throne with a 360-degree view of the sky.”  That’s how an unnamed blogger at Daytrippen.com described the unusual facility at The Glass Outhouse Art Gallery in Twentynine Palms. But the outhouse is just one reason to go there. Here’s reporter Mike Lipsitz with seven more reasons to check it out this Saturday…

The works of seven local artists will be featured at The Glass Outhouse Art Gallery’s new show opening this Saturday, November 6 from 1 to 5 p.m. with free refreshments, and live music from local musician Paul Gerkin. November’s featured artists include Lynzy Kunz, Lori Antoinette, Kikr Nash, Kate Tatsumi, Jaime Zwicker, Eric Saks, and Charlie Jobbins. Their works explore a range of media and applications from canvas and wood to interactive sculpture, complex mosaics, and more. The exhibit runs through November 29. The gallery is on the highway at Thunder Road, about five miles east of downtown Twentynine Palms.
