The town of Yucca Valley has announced that it is now accepting applications for funding from organizations and entities that enhance the quality of life in Yucca Valley. The funds, estimated to be about $82,000, are from the Measure Y sales tax measure and the general fund. The deadline to apply is 5 p.m. May 3. The Yucca Valley Town Council will give final approval for applications at a future meeting. Application forms and guidelines can be found at yucca-valley.org.
