Although the state of California is starting to open up businesses, neither the Twentynine Palms nor Joshua Tree cemeteries will hold Memorial Day ceremonies this year. However, both cemeteries will still place flags on veterans’ graves. Employees will be available for assistance from 9 to 11:30 a.m. at the Joshua Tree Memorial Park on Monday, May 31, if residents need help.
