An update on the homicide investigation into the death of a 4-week-old baby on Monday. Sheriff’s officials have confirmed that Homicide detectives were called in to investigate the case as a precaution. While the coroner has not yet released the cause of death, Sheriff’s officials do not suspect foul play or that the parents or other caregivers were negligent or intended to harm the baby.
