A special night sky festival is this weekend night in Twentynine Palms. Managing Editor Tami Roleff gets out her telescope…
Sky’s the Limit and Joshua Tree National Park are co-sponsoring a night sky festival this weekend, Friday, October 16, through Sunday, October 18. Events—which will include night sky viewing, night time walks, and model rocket building and launching—will be held at Sky’s the Limit Observatory and at various locations inside Joshua Tree National Park. Due to limited parking at Sky’s the Limit, visitors are urged to park at the Oasis Visitor’s Center and take the free shuttle bus. A full schedule of events is available at a link with this story at z1077fm.com.
