The Town of Yucca Valley Planning Department announced that a new tenant will be moving into the old Walmart building soon. Hibbett Sports—a leading athletic-inspired fashion retailer headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama, with more than 1,000 stores—has submitted plans to move into about 6,000 square feet of the building, located at 57980 29 Palms Highway. Construction schedules have not been provided to the town, but town officials expect the project to begin very soon.
