The Morongo Valley Community Services District will meet tonight (February 16) to appoint a new president and vice president and hear a presentation from the county. Reporter Jef Harmatz joins us with a full rundown of the agenda.
At tonight’s regularly scheduled meeting, the CSD Board of Directors will appoint new officers, including President and Vice President. Two new directors were appointed at last month’s meeting, Shawna Johnson and Jennifer Henning, and now that all director positions are filled, the board will appoint officers. The board will also receive a report from San Bernardino County’s Local Agency Formation Commission, which establishes and regulates legislative bodies such as towns and community service districts. The board will also consider strengthening their cost recovery program as a means of additional funding, and receive the final results of a financial audit. Tonight’s meeting begins at 6 p.m. and will be held online, with details to attend below.
