The Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT) program was created for children in California living in households struggling with food insecurity. The program provides electronic food benefits to families—each meal equal to the value of meals that children would have received at school through free or reduced-priced meal programs. Students will be identified for P-EBT through their existing eligibility in California’s free or reduced-priced meals program. More information about the P-EBT program is available in the link below.
