The outdoor exercise equipment installed in Luckie Park in Twentynine Palms is now open for public to use; a ribbon cutting is set for Tuesday, February 11, at 5:30 p.m. Solar lights will be installed sometime in late February or early March. If you’re walking around the park, the distance is .7 of a mile, and 3 laps around the park is 2 miles. The equipment is designed to be used by every age group, with directions on each piece of equipment. The equipment is also handicapped accessible. There are six stations around the park with 14 pieces of equipment that work each major muscle area of the body, using your own body weight for resistance.
