An extra half hour of local programming will be added to Z107.7’s schedules Sunday afternoons. Reporter Mike Lipsitz joins us again with the details…
Sunday afternoons on Z107.7 is gaining another local, quirky show, starting this Sunday, November 20. Jill Carey Michaels, an artist, performer, and author of “Debutante without a Dress” and “No Customer Service” left New York and stopped in the Morongo Basin this summer, and she never left. Michaels hosted radio shows on NPR and entertained audiences with her one-woman show, “Nice Girl,” in New York. Michaels will host Z107.7 Desert Storysongs, on which she will share her unique observations with and about the vibrant desert community she’s come to call home. Desert Storysongs will air at 2:30 Sundays, followed by the Many Moods of Ben Vaughn at 3 p.m., and Pat Michaels’ Local Music Showcase at 4.
