The Mount San Jacinto Natural History Association is sponsoring a new online lecture series called Getting in Touch with Nature. Reporter Joshua King has more details…
The Getting in Touch with Nature Lecture Series is focused on the natural history of the wider area surrounding Mt. San Jacinto State Park and Wilderness, more broadly including southern California from the desert to the sea. All presentations of the series will be on the second Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. Invitations to the zoom lectures will be sent out a week or more in advance. Since meetings are limited to about 100 Zoom guests, it behooves early registration. Most presentations will be followed by a Q&A period. In this presentation you’ll see and learn about the rare and unusual birds that call this state park their home. For those who miss the presentation, a recording will be available on the NHA website within five days at msjnha.org.
