At the Yucca Valley Town Council’s last meeting in December, council members were presented with some problem intersections that needed improvements. One of those intersections was Yucca Trail and Warren Vista, which has been the scene of several serious crashes. Council members directed staff to install a four-way stop sign there, along with flashing lights to warn motorists of the stop. Yesterday, the stop signs and lights were installed. And in related news, a traffic light has been installed at Encelia Avenue and Highway 62 in Twentynine Palms. Be prepared to stop if you travel those roads.
