A new exhibit is running at the Black Rock Art Gallery.

In her exhibition entitled “Into the Mojave,” Mollie Doctrow has created a series of black and white woodcut prints that seek to interrogate natural forms through shape, line, contrast and rhythm. The artist has held several residencies at national parks, which have informed her work, and this latest exhibition is based on her return to her native California and time spent in the Mojave National Preserve.

The exhibition will run from August 28, 2022 until October 1, 2022, at the Black Rock Art Gallery in the Black Rock Nature Center, located at 9800 Black Rock Canyon Rd, Yucca Valley, CA 92284. The building is open weekend hours only, Friday- Monday, 8-4pm, until September, when hours expand.

Please check updated hours on our web site at www.nps.gov/jotr/planyourvisit/visitorcenters.htm
