The 29 Palms Art Gallery’s newest show is on display, and an opening reception is set for Saturday, December 7. Featured artists this month are Whitney Gardner and Catherine Tirr. Gardner’s painting, “Ocotillo Sky,” received the Best of Show award at the Joshua Tree National Park Expo in September for her painting “Ocotillo Sky.” Tirr’s show, “Contours,” is a group exhibition of artists from Los Angeles. The opening reception is set for Saturday, December 7, from 5 to 7 p.m. The gallery is open 11 to 3 Thursday through Sunday. The 29 Palms Art Gallery is located at the corner of Cottonwood Drive and National Park Drive in Twentynine Palms.
