This August, escape the dog days of summer by heading to the Dog Days art exhibit at Gallery 62 in Joshua Tree. Gallery 62 will relocate for a month to the old Joshua Tree Art Gallery while renovations are made at the Gallery 62 art gallery. Artists included in this show are David Greene, Patti Dietrick, Ray Yeager, Ilona Mercier, Tammy Romatko, Robert McClay, and Cheryl Kandel Gimson, plus Diana Shay-Diehl as the signature artist. The show is on display through August 25, with an artists’ reception from 5:30-8:30 p.m. tonight during the Second Saturday art crawl. Regular hours are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays, and noon to 3 p.m. Sundays. The gallery is located on the south side of Highway 62 in downtown Joshua Tree.
