Gallery 62’s newest exhibit is “Habitat,” which explores how living creatures connect to, and affect, our desert environment. Artists Francisco Letelier, Hannah Campbell, Mary Beth Fama, Janis Commentz, Teri Hudson, Scott Lloyd Doten, and Kathy Miller will display their impressions of the theme through photography, painting, assemblage, and sculpture. An artists’ reception is set for 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, June 8, at the gallery in downtown Joshua Tree. The exhibit will be on display through June 30. Gallery hours are Fridays from noon to 3 p.m., Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Sundays from noon to 3 p.m.
