Harrison House Music, Arts & Ecology will present Ernest Siva in a concert of Native American flute at 7 p.m. on Friday, November 2 in the great room inside Harrison House. Siva will share traditional Native American songs from his book and CD set, “Voices of the Flute,” and stories of his Native American people. Siva is a major contributor to the transmission of Indian culture through his work as a musician, community leader, and university lecturer and teacher. He is one of the last remaining speakers of the Serrano language and serves as tribal historian and cultural advisor for the Morongo Band of Mission Indians. Harrison House is at 6881 Mt.
