Theatre 29 is hosting an exclusive two-performance staged reading of the original comedy, “A Twisted Christmas Carol,” this Saturday night, September 8, at 7 p.m., and Sunday, September 9, at 2:30 p.m. Playwright Phil Olson will attend to get feedback from the actors and the audience to tune-up the play before it goes into national circulation. The play is set at Buford’s Open Pit Barbeque in rural west Texas on Christmas Eve. Seating for “A Twisted Christmas Carol” staged reading is first-come first-seated.
Tickets are $10 for general admission, and $7 for students with ID. Season ticket holders get in free. Visit theatre29.org or call the Theatre 29 box office at 760-361-4151. Tickets will also be available at the door. All proceeds go to the Theatre 29 building expansion fund.
