For the 37th year in a row, the San Bernardino County Sheriffs’ department and the town of Yucca Valley are sponsoring National Night Out on October 21. Reporter Heather Clisby says today is the final day for interested vendors to get involved…
Created as a “unique crime prevention event,” the San Bernardino County Sheriffs’ department and the town of Yucca Valley will host the 2021 National Night Out on Thursday, October 21, from 4-7 p.m. The event will take place at the Yucca Valley Community Center at 57088 Twentynine Palms Hwy and will feature vehicle tours, games, and vendors. Complimentary food and beverages will also be provided at this family-friendly event.
Vendors who would like to participate should submit their application form by Monday, September 20. Because this is a family event, vendors are asked to contribute a “kid activity” such as face painting, bean bag toss, balloon animals or crafts. Vendors are responsible for acquiring their own licensing and bringing their own equipment.
Forms can be obtained from and emailed to Melissa Kramer, [email protected], or Shawn Moon, [email protected] or dropped off at the Morongo Basin Sheriff’s Station, 63665 29 Palms Hwy in Joshua Tree. Phone is 760/366-4175.
