This weeks sees National Day of Prayer Services come to Twentynine Palms, as spiritual leaders from a number of hi-desert churches come together for the annual event. Three services will be held on Thursday (May 4), on the theme of “Pray Fervently in Righteousness and Avail Much,” which is bassed on James 5:16.

The 29 Palms Ministerial Association will host three services in Twentynine Palms: 7 a.m. and Noon at Veterans Park (flagpole), City of Twentynine Palms, 6136 Adobe Road and 6:30 p.m. at Gospel Fellowship Christian Center Church, 5898 Adobe Road.  All services are open to the public.

Mayor McArthur Wright from the City of Twentynine Palms will present a Proclamation at the morning service.
