In yesterday’s presidential election, Donald Trump beat out Hillary Clinton, with 279 electoral votes to 218. Kamala Harris is California’s next U.S. senator, with 66 percent of the vote. Congressman Paul Cook and Assemblyman Chad Mayes easily kept their seats in the U.S. House of Representatives and California Assembly, with 63.7 percent and 58.2 percent, respectively.
