Caltrans reminds motorists that this weekend kicks off three very busy weekends of freeway traffic. The Coachella music festival is Friday, April 12 through Sunday, April 14, and again Friday, April 19 to Sunday, April 21. Following that is the Stagecoach music festival Friday, April 26 through Sunday, April 28. Motorists who plan to use Interstate 10 between Beaumont and Indio during these events will experience traffic delays during peak travel times, which for eastbound traffic is Fridays, and for westbound, is Sundays and Monday mornings. Caltrans urges residents to plan accordingly.
