Morongo Unified School District Superintendent Tom Baumgarten will be welcoming back teachers, staff, and students on the first day of the 2019-2020 school year with an innovative new video. The video features Baumgarten at various district sites, stating that the District is “Blasting off” to new ventures, celebrating the 50th Anniversary of NASA’s Apollo missions. Baumgarten hopes the video will inspire students to give their academic best and encourage all employees to serve students with excellence. The video will be played on the first day of school, August 26, to students, staff, and faculty at all MUSD schools.
