With schools closing for the winter break, the Morongo Unified School District will offer student holiday meals. Twentynine Palms and Yucca Valley High Schools are providing no-cost, drive-through holiday student meals to any student or their parents. The meals will consist of turkey and gravy, mashed potatoes, fresh produce, dinner rolls, Honey Nut Cheerios, canned fruits and veggies, milk and a dessert of Chocolate Cream Pie. The meals will be distributed at Twentynine Palms High School and Yucca Valley High School on December 17, from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m., and students do not need to be present.
