As students begin to get ready for the new school year beginning in August, the Morongo Unified School District is hosting their annual “Back to School Resource Day” this Friday (July 19.)
Students of all ages will be able to pick up a free backpack filled with school supplies, books, boxes of food, and dental kits. The school district will also be providing information about immunizations and physicals to help students meet the qualifications for enrollment.
The resource event will be held on Friday at Joshua Tree Elementary School, located at 4950 Sunburst Ave in Joshua Tree. The event runs from 9 a.m. to noon.
