The Morongo Unified School District Board of Trustees will meet in special session today at the MUSD district office at 8:45 am. During the meeting, the board will hear presentations and discuss proposals for an executive search firm to assist in selecting the district superintendent, a position currently held by interim superintendent Doug Weller. The board will also hold a discussion meeting tomorrow, November 10, at 9:00 am at Friendly Hills Elementary School, to discuss The Governance Core handbook, a resource which provides strategies for school board members and other school leaders to face modern challenges in school governance.
