A Los Angeles murder suspect was arrested after police kicked in the door of his room at the Desert View Motel in Yucca Valley early this morning. Following an intensive search by local Sheriffs working with Los Angeles Police, 46-year-old Michael Rodney Kane, was arrested without incident for allegedly chasing down and stabbing his estranged wife to death on a San Fernando Valley street Saturday morning. Kane, who teaches at a Tarzana elementary school, evaded an intensive search that at times had parts of the Yucca Valley Community Center Park sectioned off with police crime scene tape. Kane was treated at the scene for injuries he may have received during the stabbing.
