Sheriff’s deputies responded to multiple calls Tuesday about burglaries throughout the Morongo Basin. Burglaries were reported Monday in the 60200 block of Stearman Road, 56100 block of Tracy Boulevard, and 55400 block of Coleman Trail in Landers; 61700 block of Crest Circle in Joshua Tree; 72600 block of Sunny Sands and 82000 block of Neven Road in Twentynine Palms and Wonder Valley; and 9000 block of Rose Eden Drive in Morongo Valley, among others. Residents reported that thieves stole televisions and computers; video games and gaming systems; construction equipment; off-road vehicles and travel trailers; and more. Deputies have video and witnesses for some of the burglaries and have identified some suspects, but no arrests have been made as of yet.
