Several burglaries were reported in Twentynine Palms Thursday. In the 6400 block of Shelton Road in Wonder Valley, someone broke a gate surrounding the property and forced entry into a detached garage. A burglary was also reported in the 7400 block of Chissum Trail and a small amount of cash was stolen. A business in the 71400 block of Highway 62 also reported a break-in Thursday morning, with cash and small personal items stolen. Another burglary was reported in the 6600 block of Smoke Tree Avenue. And then a Good Samaritan found a black and brown woman’s wallet in the 73100 block of Sunnyvale and turned it into the Morongo Basin Sheriff’s station.
