MOTORCYCLIST RECEIVES MINOR INJURIES IN YUCCA VALLEY CRASH

A motorcycle rider suffered minor injuries after he was hit by a Jeep Cherokee that turned in front of him in Yucca Valley Wednesday afternoon. According to a Sheriff’s report, the Jeep was traveling eastbound on the highway at Trojan Way when the driver made a left turn into a business driveway. Traveling westbound on the highway in the number one lane was a motorcycle rider, who attempted to brake to avoid hitting the Jeep. The rider was thrown from the motorcycle, which continued on and slid under the Jeep. The rider suffered minor injuries and was taken to Hi-Desert Medical Center.
