MOTORCYCLIST ESCAPES SERIOUS INJURIES FOLLOWING COLLISION IN TWENTYNINE PALMS

A motorcyclist escaped serious injury when the bike and a car collided in Twentynine Palms Friday afternoon. Just before 4:30 p.m., the yellow Suzuki sport bike and a silver sedan collided at the intersection of Highway 62 and Desert Queen Avenue. Paramedics examined the motorcycle rider at the scene and he declined transport to the hospital. The Sheriff’s Department is investigating.
