MOTORCYCLIST KILLED IN CRASH AT HWY 62 AND I-10

A motorcyclist was killed after his bike reportedly flew off a State Route 62 connector road and crashed into a car traveling on Interstate 10, smashing the car’s windshield. The crash was reported around 4 p.m. Thursday, along the connector road from southbound Highway 62 to westbound Interstate 10, according to preliminary reports on the California Highway Patrol’s website.
The motorcyclist died at the scene, fire officials said. The name of the motorcyclist has not been released.
