A motorcycle rider was injured in a crash with a car Saturday afternoon in Yucca Valley. Just before 2 p.m., the motorcycle rider and a blue Honda crashed on Old Woman Springs Road near Hillcrest Drive. The motorcycle rider was thrown on to the hood of the Honda and into the windshield. While he was injured, rescue personnel said the injuries were non-life-threatening. He was taken to Desert Hospital in Palm Springs. The driver of the Honda was not injured. The Sheriff’s Department is investigating.
