Motorcycle Road Rage incident leads to arrest, stolen Harley, 3 guns

A suspect in a July road rage incident on Twentynine Palms Highway was arrested November 17th. On July 23, Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to an assault in the 58100 block of Twentynine Palms Highway, in Yucca Valley, regarding an incident of road rage, in which the victim was struck and rendered unconscious.

The victim was transported to Hi-Desert Medical Center for his injuries, and the suspect fled the scene on a maroon motorcycle. A suspect, Derrick Tarrant, a 45 year-old resident of Yucca Valley, was identified during the investigation of the incident.

On Thursday (November 17), Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Tarrant at a residence in the 6300 block of Goleta Ave in Yucca Valley, where they say they discovered three firearms and a stolen Harley Davidson motorcycle.

Derrick Tarrant was arrested for suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and booked into Morongo Basin Jail with bail set at $250,000
