A motorcycle rider was hospitalized following a crash in Yucca Valley Monday evening. About 7:30 p.m., a bystander came upon a crashed motorcycle, with an unconscious male rider in the 57700 block of Joshua Drive. County Fire Captain Ed Noble said the rider, estimated to be in his 50s, was groggy and talking when rescue personnel arrived, but he was flown to Arrowhead Medical Center with a suspected head injury. A Sheriff’s report states that no witnesses were located in the area; anyone with information should call the Sheriff’s Department at 760-366-4175.
