1

A Morongo Valley woman was arrested Tuesday morning after she pepper sprayed another woman during an argument. According to a Sheriff’s report, the victim went to a home in the 7400 block of Hopi Trail just after 7 a.m. to pick up her brother’s 8-month-old baby who lived there with its mother. The mother’s sister, Charvonne Moore, 23, met the woman at the door with a restraining order for the baby’s father. Moore and the woman started arguing, and then Moore sprayed the other woman in the face with pepper spray. A friend who was with the victim was also hit with pepper spray. Charvonne Moore was arrested for investigation of assault, and on $250,000 in warrants for felony trespassing and battery against a police officer, and booked at the Morongo Basin Jail. She was to be arraigned in court yesterday.
