A Morongo Valley woman was arrested Thursday, accused of elder abuse. On February 27, deputies learned that Lori Johnson, 57, was financially abusing an elderly victim over several months in the 48300 block of Adeline Way in Morongo Valley, which resulted in a large financial loss to the victim. Deputies issued a warrant for her arrest, and Lori Johnson was arrested Thursday, for investigation of elder abuse, forgery, and grand theft auto. Johnson was booked at the Morongo Basin Jail with her bail set at $50,000.
