A Morongo Valley woman was arrested Monday night for suspicion of driving under the influence after she hit another car, causing injury. According to Sheriff’s reports, Alexandra Rosales, 28, was driving a 2009 Chevy Impala Eastbound on Highway 62 shortly before 10 p.m. when she ran a red light at Avalon Avenue, causing her to collide with another vehicle that was passing through a green light. A female passenger in the car that was hit by Rosales suffered injuries to her hand and had abdominal pain. Alexandra Rosales was arrested for investigation of driving under the influence, resulting in injury, and was booked into the Central Detention Center with her bail set at $100,000.
