The Morongo Valley Community Services District and Fire Department are welcoming everyone to attend this fun holiday event where the Morongo Valley town Christmas tree will be officially lit. Included in the festivities will be a choir performance from Morongo Valley Elementary School students; pictures with Santa; roasting marshmallows with the firefighters; and complimentary cookies, snacks, and hot chocolate. The event will be held Saturday, December 8, from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Morongo Valley Fire Station, 11207 Ocotillo Street in Morongo Valley.
