A strike team from Morongo Valley was sent early this morning to help fight the Hill fire, near Granite Hill Drive and Pyrite Street in Jurupa Valley. The four firefighters left in their medic engine about 4:30 a.m. Thursday. The Hill Fire, which closed both directions of Highway 60, is about 630 acres and is 30 percent contained as of 7 p.m. Wednesday.
